Our angling ponds in Canow and Boek are situated in the midst of an unchanged nature of the Mecklenburg Lake District.
Here beside a tasty meal and a chill beer you can follow your passion.
We offer different angling possibilities. In Canow we have a pond that is full of carp, tench and sturgeons. At the fishing and angling yard Bolter Schleuse we have a big choice of different ponds: a family pond where carp splash about in water. Then the triangular pond, a special pond for children directly at the rotunda, the main fish are roach and rudd. The sturgeon pond is full of fight-strong sturgeons. The pipe pond, full of carp of different dimensions, is ideal for individualist because of its two angling places.
A specific feature, unique in Germany, is the pike ditch. Here art baits are permitted. Pike up to 90 cm were already caught! Beside the fishing the natural experience is central at our ponds. Sea eagles and kingfisher are frequent guests at our ponds, beside other faunal species.

Insider-Tip
We are especially proud of the new Fisher's rotunda in Bolter Schleuse. After a short construction time of only half a year it was opened in spring, 2007. Right beside the pond with relaxing view at the breathtaking nature. Sea eagles and ospreys as well as other rare birds fly across the sky. In a show pond you can observe from the terrace the typical fish of the pond economy. At the same time you can also halp yourselves. Of course you can organise and enjoy your own family celebration in the special ambience of the Fisher's rotunda.
The unique location also offers the possibility for unique offers, even for groups and school classes. Thus you can look in the brooder house and get to know more than 30 kinds of native fish along a fish educational trail.
