Every fish has its season... then it tastes best of all
Fish play an important part in healthy eating. The German society for food (DGE) recommends to eat fish two times per week.
Fresh fish can be prepared in a variety of ways. Whether traditionally or modernly – fresh fish is a real pleasure.
In particular it contains polyunsaturated fatty and omega-3 fatty acids. These can prevent cardiovascular diseases and improve our blood fat values.
So-called fat fish, like vendace, salmon or herring are especially rich in these fatty acids. Fish flesh is easy to digest and contains many healthy contents: valuable protein and vitamins, like vitamin A, D and B.
