The climbing forest Müritz is an experience for the whole family. Children, youths and adults can try their climbing skills in the natural surroundings of the wood.

Müritz National Park

The Müritz National Park (322 km² total area) is in the north-east of Germany between Berlin and Rostock. The Müritz has 117 km² and is the biggest lake Germany, famous by its crystal-clear water and magic scenery. A 500-m-wide stripe on the east shore belongs to the national park.

In the Müritz National park there are more than 100 lakes which are bigger than 1 hectare. The bigger subterritory (260 km²), to the east of the Müritz, is characterized by wide pinewoods and big moors. In the smaller subterritory (62 km²) around Serrahn near Neustrelitz there are remarkable old beech forests in a hilly scenery with many small lakes and moors.

It is a pleasure to go tobogganing in summer. On the summer toboggan run in Malchow not only the small guests have fun. Who has tobogganed enough, is invited to visit a large family of monkeys.

Yacht Charter Schulz

Here you will find houseboats and engine yachts from 8 to 15 meters for from 2 to 14 persons. Weekly and daily tours are possible (also free of driving licence).
